Motorcross Sponsorship
Ashley Harland
17 Years

We are the parents of Ashley who has recently turned 16 years old.     Ashley has been racing since the age of 6 years old.     The aim of this was to keep Ashley focused and out of trouble, to keep him off the streets and away from drugs.

Ashley has been chosen to ride in the KWS British Championship Series 2006.   This is a very high profile event and is run over 6 rounds.   The Grand Prix Riders also ride at the KWS Championship meetings.       The cost of the two-day race fees are £85.00 per round together with fuel costs.       The events will be run at tracks all over the British Isles.

We are looking for some help for Ashley to enable him to complete this championship event through sponsorship to help with riding kit, helmet, race fees and/or fuel expenses.   The first round of the KWS Series is in Bournemouth and the fuel expenses likely to be incurred will be around £100 - £120 together with the weekend race fees of £85.00.   Therefore we envisage that each round will cost approximately £200.

Ashley also has the opportunity to ride in Europe i.e. Belgium, Holland France against international riders.     The costs involved in this would be race fees, fuel expenses and ferry crossing fees.

Any help with sponsorship of Ashley would be greatly appreciated.

Ashley is extremely talented in this sport and has the ability of going further within the sport of Motorcross but has been restricted due to the funding constraints and the monies available to enable him to go further.

Ashley is undertaking this sport as a hobby and when he leaves school wishes to obtain an apprenticeship in joinery.       He has already secured a 2-week work experience in joinery with a local businessman for 2005

He is a very genuine lad who appreciates the sport and who helps in his own way by giving his paper round money and his Saturday job money to his parents to help.

He is also aware of neighbours who need help and is always willing to put himself out by cutting lawns and doing errands for those who are unable to undertake the tasks themselves.

We hope you can help.

Yours sincerely

PAM, NIGEL & ASHLEY
